We had no room for him at LSU. Wonder if he stays at RB with his size.

Dude is the ultimate boom or bust prospect. Has all the athletic tools to be a monster but runs like he's 5'9" 180 lbs. Interested to see how we use him. Could be deadly as a slot WR matched up against LB/S in the short passing game or if he learns that he's 6'3" 218 lbs so he should probably run through some people

He wanted to commit to LSU last month but they cut off contact with him.

That sounds like an asanine statement but it’s true. Only three spots left with being bigger needs on the board. Had he wanted in a couple months ago he would be welcomed with open arms. Now not so much.

SEC country
quote:

It was going to be LSU. I was [supposed to commit], but they stopped talking to me and I don’t know why,” Joiner told SEC Country at U.S. Army Game practice on Monday. “I was shocked, kind of heartbroken. I was ready to go to that school, but I guess they didn’t want me.”

quote:

They loved me. They were in my house talking about family, staying overtime and then they didn’t answer,” Joiner recalled of the December in-home visits. “They were supposed to call me on the early signing period about what they wanted to do, but they didn’t call. I tried to contact coach Tommie Robinson, but no one answered.”

Oh.

This time he's right. Joiner wanted to commit at Army All-America Game but LSU literally wouldn't answer his calls or texts

AU didn't have a spot for him until KJ declared early. He's a guy that's bounced around a lot

Taking a three star recruit over a 4 star player that can play multiple positions. Again I say wow.

Some people also said Derrick Henry couldn't play running back. I always heard he grew up a Florida fan, but Will Muschamp was skeptical he could play running back

Toughness on a football field is a mindset in my opinion. Doubt anyone has told this kid to either get tougher or ride the bench. Not like you are asking someone to run a 4.2 forty yard dash when they are physically incapable of that

He should be playing anything other than RB.

It appears LSU landed enough guys that were higher on their board that they ran out of room for him. It's kind of lame that LSU didn't tell him that so he could move on to his other options right away.

Only a bammer would tell an Auburn fan to leave a thread about an Auburn commit.

Maybe you should follow your own advice. This thread doesn't concern you or your team

Lol. Yet you can’t even remotely do the same in threads that don’t involve Auburn.

If he wants to talk to Auburn fans only, he can post on the Auburn board........ bet he can't

Congrats on the pickup.

You're right. It'll be interesting to see how his college career goes. Good luck to the kid.

It is not about talking to Auburn fans. I find your interest in this thread comical when your own team has taken two no name, scrub running backs in this class that nobody else wanted

Why are you like this phan?

What "bammer" fricked your world up so bad to make you carry around this raging anger every day of your life?

That is a comical take coming from you. I believe you are one of the bammers who have been ultra defensive over nobody else wanting the scrub running backs you have taken in this class

I don't care if what the guy said was true. It is also true that bammers running backs in this class are garbage, yet bammers have gotten extremely defensive about anyone else pointing that out
