All Speck did was bring the not so secretive rumors to the public. Jones might not visit Ole Miss or anyone else but his family is not all pleased with Ms State at the current time. They've been wondering why and asking why their kid, with top 20 talent, was not being heavily recruited by other schools. They depended on the high school to get his tape out (which is the way it works 9 times out of 10). The recent twitter war between Ms State and Ole Miss coaches confirmed what other schools have been telling the Jones family since the all star games. Which is basically certain people and certain schools are doing everything in their power to keep his name quiet and basically not let him enjoy the process the way he should. He's earned it. Had it not been for the recent all star games, the plan wouldve worked. However Chris being around all the other all stars at both Ms/Al and Under Armour opened his eyes and he realized someone has been lying to him.
I still think he inks with Ms State but he's far from a lock. This should be great entertainment.

Heard the same thing. The biggest mistake was letting him go to the AU game and hang out with all the Ole Miss recruits.

So, they're mad at MSU for him not being recruited more.
When his coach tried to get coaches to come visit and only USM and MSU came. And only MSU gave him a scholarship.
