I'm confused about this in that everything I've heard from UGA's NIL stuff over the past couple of years is that they do NOT offer recruits huge sums of money.

I've never seen a story showing UGA offering 7 figures for a recruit NIL deal and every story showing UGA's highest NIL earning players has only contained starters, never showing recruits with huge NIL earnings.

Is there something I've missed that shows UGA handing out big NIL deals last cycle to recruits?

In short no fans know exactly what their favorite team does or does not do. We all have people we think and/ or consider insiders who can give us a glimpse, but we don't definitely know.

What you laid out for Georgia is what you have been told and it seems to make sense from our vantage point, but we should all admit we like to take the story that sheds the best light on our favorite team

I don't think youre any more relentless than any other SEC school at recruiting. Youre just really good, so it helps a lot

What does that even mean? How is it quantified?

It’s usually said by coaches that leave our program for a promotion. Not sure how genuine they are being but it’s a recurring theme

Lots of OSU insiders said the bag drop for Wilson last year was 7 figures by UGA. Again, we are all spitballing here and are doing so in a very cordial manner for the most part so it's just passing info. We are not inside these departments running the numbers

I think it’s natural for fans to think other teams are dropping huge offers when they lose out on a recruit. I’ve seen pretty much every fan base do it. Sometimes it true, sometimes it’s not.

Edit: I doubt that most schools are dropping six figures for unproven players

Hard to say, but Kirby came in recruiting like this. I mean, people can speculate why. (NIL, Cheating, relentless)

And, I will say this....ask Auburn fans if all SEC teams recruit the same. They just went through Harsin and Malzahn.
There are coaches who live and breathe recruiting and some really don't enjoy it and do only what they have to do.

But yes. Winning titles the last two years definitely helps.

Nothing wrong with passing on information or what we are hearing. What you are saying does not sound like trolling. We have seen tweets and other stuff that speculates exactly what you are saying.
