I could give less than a damn what you think about UGA's performance, much less care enough to have a conversation with you. We crushed the SEC West winner in the championship game. Deal with it. UGA is SEC champs, Auburn is the loser. You had your chance and couldn't get it done. You are our bitch. Hypotheticals mean nothing.
This thread is about you claiming we were about to lose Dell McGee based on nothing other than your fantasies and insecurity about being out-recruited by Kirby Smart and company.

Mcgee is Georgia born guy that happened to grow up in Columbus, GA near that shite stain Allbarn.
When the time comes, we'll see where his loyalties lie.

This is his career. He is in a prime position to make a jump up from Georgia to a coordinator or group of 5 HC job within the next few years. Starting over somewhere else only puts that at risk, whether its his alma mater or not.
I wouldn't agree with that.

He did, but why would he leave his current situation to go back as a position coach?
If you were doing well at Auburn and UGA wanted you to "come home" you wouldn't go?

Yeah, ask Brian Van Gorder that. Ask Todd Grantham that. They have jumped all over the place. It hasn't helped either get a head job, other than Van Gorder's short term GSU head job, a program he left in tatters.
McGee is not taking a lateral move to Auburn unless it's for a real promotion or a huge increase in pay that UGA won't match. He's going to get a significant pay raise and extension at Georgia. This guy is talking out of his arse.

Depends, have you recruited kids for 2 years that are now playing for you and built connections with. We tried to lure Kirby Smart away from Bama for coordinator positions in the past and he turned us down.....twice. So, while I agree for some the offer might be impossible to turn down for others it really depends. It's his career and he's looking damn good right now which would explain why AU fans would wanna poach him but easier said than done.

You're right and I'm not even sure he would come given those reasons but your post seemed to not understand why he would even consider it.

This entire thread is laughable, because there is not a shred of evidence he's even been asked, nor is there a shred of evidence that he would leave or is leaving. This thread was started by an insecure moron making up stories out of thin air.

At the end of the day it probably won't happen but your statement of needing evidence is just dumb. There is no "evidence" that Matt Canada is leaving LSU other than rumors but everyone pretty much knows he is leaving after the bowl game.

I'll give you Grantham who has jumped around although for more money. Van Gorder got fired to cause most of his jumps.
Then you have Gene Chizik and Will Muschamp who have both jumped and it worked out for their betterment.

No one is disagreeing with that.

I’m not the one who started a thread with a BS title about how Georgia is losing their coach based on absolutely nothing.
It makes no sense for a position coach at a major program to make a lateral move unless he gets a promotion or the money is too great. Just like it made no sense for Smart to leave Bama for Georgia for a lateral move. Muschamp often did as well, or he was fired.

This whole fricking thread was started to troll UGA fans and now it's a 5 page argument. Can we just abandon the dumbass so he can go start another stupid thread.
Posted on 12/29/17 at 6:47 pm to CoolMtnDawg
It might be speculative, but it is not really a troll. I don't think Auburn will just sit back and watch a former Auburn player recruit a bunch of 5 star recruits to another school. I do think Auburn will at least try to hire him rejativeky soon

Fsu to au might be a slight upgrade. Uga to au is a clear downgrade.
UGA is easily the least accomplished of these programs for nearly the last 4 decades now.
Unfortunately you are in a good spot to change that but Richt also won the SEC in year 2 so we’ll see

Dell isnt making this hypothetical decision based upon 1977-2016. He is making the decision based upon 2017 and the future.

By every metric except one UGA is a better program than Auburn and a vastly superior university and town, and an even better point was made above. The past is over and is irrelevant.

I mean you guys are SEC Champs and in the playoff and all and congrats you earned it but you do realize we just beat the shite out of you like 6 weeks ago and are one quarter of football away from being in your position right now.
UGA definitely has a lot to be excited about but you're acting like Auburn is Kentucky

You can't have it both ways. AU has been the better program like I said for almost 4 decades now.

It would be a lateral move at best. I don’t understand how it would make sense professionally.
