Oh.

I didn't mean for it to. I'm just excited about what Anderson brings to our team. The gif I posted had nothing to do with Sherman.

Ha, you're good. Pretty much any other poster and it would have come off the wrong way.

Congrats. I guess we'll just have to settle for Sherman

Sherman will be a monster. Jalen Carter might be the best get for UGA in this class though. Which is good because UGA has been missing an elite DT.
From the same article.
Carter got stronger as the week progressed and peaked during the game on Thursday. The Georgia signee was the game’s most dominant player, in my opinion. He routinely whipped the opposing offensive line and created disruption on a bunch of plays over the course of the game. The Georgia signee is built like a brickhouse and showed some outstanding body quickness and ability to play with leverage. During practice, Carter consistently flashed in 1-on-1’s and 11-on-11. He elevated his game further when fully padded on Tuesday and during the game. In all, Carter had the best overall week among defensive players in Orlando based on what I saw.

There's a lot of good information in that link. Charles Power is one of the best recruiting guys on the internet.

Ready for the final class updates. Not sure if ppl will complain about the bama bump, Georgia jump, or Tennessee tumble.

Yeah.

He used to be one of the BOL mods, but left the industry about 5-6 years ago.

They brought him back as a national analyst in 2018 I think.

Regardless of what happens, the LSU fans will melt.

A few of the 247 mods have started to release their personal 5-star rankings as this class winds down. It appears Will Anderson is in line for a huge Bama bump in the final Top247.

Shea Dixon - #3 overall
Charles Power - #5 overall
Steve Wiltfong - #5 overall
Greg Biggins - #19 overall

Surprising they’re all so high on Arian smith. Didn’t know he was that good.

Agreed, but it looks like Washington is headed down and out. Probably for good reason - he looked like he needed some work during the AA game.

Unless UGA's scheme changes the WR's will be more important than the TE. UGA only got 2 years of WR out of Mecole since he started at CB. Hopefully Arian Smith comes in further along at WR and puts up numbers.

Alabama signee Will Anderson might be the biggest riser from either game. We already liked the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder a bunch heading into the week, strictly off his phenomenal senior video. Having yet to see him in person, there was a bit of an unknown, which was quickly erased. Anderson would’ve been a riser had he just lived up to what he put on video, but he exceeded my expectations. The central Georgia native checked in with 34 inch arms (longer than most of the offensive linemen in attendance) and dominated practice from the jump. Anderson was the best edge player I saw at either event. His first-step quickness and burst was expected but the speed to power and explosion on contact was startling. He regularly stunned offensive linemen with the pop in his hands and finished plays at perhaps the highest rate of anyone. The play speed and effort level were also outstanding. That effort transferred over to the game, where Anderson continued to be highly disruptive. He also drew rave reviews from the coaching staff for his attitude and willingness to learn.

Believe what you wish but GT got in on Anderson pretty early and was said to be his #2. He was already pretty much all-in with Bama by the time Geoff Collins and staff got in but they made a big push for him and it was just too late. It has been speculated that things may have turned out differently if CGC had been here earlier when they first started recruiting him.

That's why I said believe me if you wish, because I know you won't. He visited Tech 5+ times, and we flipped his Dutchtown teammate and good friend Nate McCollum from NCState. He definitely gave GT some thought. Doesn't matter anyway, was just stating that we're starting to get our foot in the door on some of these guys and hopefully it starts paying off soon. You got a good one in Anderson.

2nd place for a recruit.

Gt has to take the wins as they see them (they dont see them on the field... the program is going backwards)
