This just in: our previously lowest rated player for the next class Davonne Bowen has been rated by 247 as a 4*. He's #3 overall in the state of SC, #20 LB in his class and #240 overall.

Was actually curious about this kid. Had seen footage on him that was stellar but no love from the ratings services. Seems like a pretty prototypical Muschamp find. Dude knows defensive talent... gotta hold onto it, but he can definitely find it.

It happened with another guy, Hamsah Nasirildeen, earlier this year. Was 3* when offered, got the bump, recruiting picked up, and thankfully committed. Muschamp can absolute identify talent.

Kid from Concord is legit. Watched him during season opener and it was obvious he's the only player on that squad going to the next level.

Do you start a thread when LSU gets a 4*? No thread was started win he initially committed. A 3* no one's heard of from a school no one's heard of isn't all that news worthy. A guy flying under the radar, that moves up 1214 rankings, is news worthy. But maybe that's just me.
