There's something going on with a FSU coach that somehow effects their chances at Goldman.
I have no clue what it is exactly, but something happen to change things...

Secftw should have been more of a team player.

I actually have a close family member on the team at Oxford. I know the baseball coach, Brooks, personally. I am merely saying that Bama has stopped recruiting KA.
Are you disputing that, or that the kid doesn't work out very much?
ORLY? Here's someone that would REALLY know...

Dude call northalabamacracker out on SEC Recruiting board. Kwon's head coach "Coach Grass" and position coach "Coach Graham" told me he has great character and gives 100%. Both Coaches coached me at Albertville for 2003 season with Graham being my LB coach. Dude just got calllllled out
BOOM, bitch.

Even I couldn't get that close(I moved when Nibs was still HC)...

I was pretty sketchy about what northalabamacrackhead was saying, since even you hadn't heard that shite... You usually know a good bit when it comes to players from O-Town. That's why I always come to you for info on those players

Like I posted in the other thread Mike Davis HC at Stone Mountain said Mike hasn't been contacted yet by AU since decommiting but he is VERY interested on AU.
This is very hard to believe, since according to this the reason Davis decommited from UF was because they continued to recruit Marshall.
FYI, AU already has a commitment from Robinson, and is at the very least the leader for Yeldon.

I think the fact Kwon wanted to play despite his injury says a lot about his effort. That and even though he was out for the rest of the year, he came in and helped coach the LBs.
I know not every HS player would "waste their time" doing that if they couldn't play. I'm sure many would find better things to do...

I've tried to tell that dumbass that we aren't recruiting anymore running backs at this time. I'm so tired of seeing all these guys say they what's going on because they're "insiders"... There's only a couple on here that know about some recruits or have inside sources. Magilla and bamasgot13 are 2 of them.

Good point. If he didn't care, he would've been sitting on the sideline and missing practices...

Yup, agree 100%. I know a lot at my old High School that miss practice all the time when they're hurt. Kwon was definitely putting his team first by doing that.
And FWIW, I doubt Bama would have recruited him for all that time if he was lazy and shite like northalabamacrackhead said. They would've noticed it way before the fact, even though it never happened. As you said, it was definitely Kwon's lack of coverage skills that turned Bama off. I'm fine with that, though.

Glad we got all this Kwon stuff figured out. I agree that Bama has backed off recruiting him, but it's not because he has bad work ethic or is a "bare minimum" player. It's more likely that they just don't feel like he fits their system. That reason, combined with his recent injury, lack of polish in pass coverage, and Bama's linebacker depth and current LB commitments, were enough combined to cause Bama to back off.

Bama just couldn't find a spot to fit him in, they dabbled with him being a Safety, but as you know that's not possible with his coverage ability ATM(and I shot down the switch every time I saw it).
Bama could have still taken Kwon, but it would have just been a luxury. The other LBs Bama has committed are lesser "projects". It's not a knock at all on Kwon, but it's more of a trend of what Bama takes in and shoots out. Sometimes they tradeoff raw talent for well-rounded players, and because of that, they send off pro ready players to the Draft that may not have tons of upside.
He should do well as an OLB for Auburn...

Coach Grass
Laziest coach that Oxford has possibly ever had. The natives were real restless with him until he made the quarter finals with a stacked team this year. I'm really shocked the kids head coach didn't say he was lazy, when he is just a product of an underachieving coach.

A poster over here that would actually know. You, on the other hand, have no idea what you're talking about...

I don't know that Alabama has quit recruiting him? Its common knowledge actually. And it has been stated in Oxford, and on other boards that he is a bare minimum sort of guy.
If bowden is a poster over here why didn't he just post himself. Very believable.

Ok, we get it... Kwon is a horribly lazy underachiever that will never see the football field at Auburn and that Bama never wanted. Now GTFO of the Auburn recruiting thread.
Posted on 12/5/11 at 3:16 pm to northalabamacracker
Let it be known that when Bama stops being associated with a recruit, message boards tend to make up reasons as to why it happened.
I've seen it happen on Rivals for 4-5 years. Not all positive, not all negative...
