You are going to be sadly mistaken...

OK I'll bookmark(Not). Not knighting for Pike, but willing to give him his chance since AU gave him a Scholly and all.

True. Loefflur is probably a better qb coach than Gus.
Not so fast... Tebow nor Brantley improved under his tutelage.

I don't think so. Frazier will start at least two years. maybe three. We will be in a solid pro set by then and we will pick up someone next year.

Get the frick out of here. Tebow's passing efficiency did improve and no one is going to change those jacked up mechanics.
Jesus himself couldn't help Brantley with the way Urban tried to cram him into his system.

Im not saying he won't play some. But he will never be our "first choice" or starter unless injuries come

Mark this down. Zeke Pike will never be the starting QB at Auburn University.

Pike has a lot of growing up to do if he's ever gonna lead Auburn.

Pike has been working on his mechanics in California with the same guy who got Cam ready for the draft and who also worked with Big Ben on his mechanics.

I am not saying that Loeffler is not good, just that he did not do great things at UF. Jordan Reed looked pretty good with few reps at QB and Trey Burton picked up the offense really fast.
I just don't think he is as good as Gus... Cam was light years ahead of his days at UF, I think Gus has to get some credit for that.

i'd take him in a heartbeat if the leadership we had this year is where we are setting the bar

Too busy helping St. Timmy.
BTW- That was not a troll attempt... If y'all get Young, then I will troll away.

Why are you on an AU recruiting thread on NSD?

Cam also started at JUCO for a season. Getting to play goes alot for a QB, even if it is JUCO. Gus did do well, but Cam did alot on his own. As evident by his ability in the pros.

Pikes biggest obstacle will be his attitude and maturity. That was what hurt him along with that injured shoulder late in the process. Will be interesting how it plays out.
