I don't doubt one bit that the AU clan has circled the wagons. I just have a hard time believing that the on the field product, off the field issues, and lack of coordinators won't have an effect tomorrow.
If AU lands the big ones, a strong tip of the hat from me. They are selling some high quality snake oil that rivals anything Saban pushes.

That's why I was saying I was under the impression you were planning to sign a full class - b/c you pretty much can.
I wasn't arguing. Just breaking down the numbers.
2 or 3 under the 85 won't be a big deal anyways. The senior class is very small so there won't be a lot leaving after the 2012 season. Auburn wouldn't be able to sign a full class next year anyways, so I guess the thought is to maybe save some of the 85 spots for next years class.
TBell
Lutz
OMac
Blake
Benton
Bates
Morgan
Travis
Stallworth
Sullen
Evans
So 11 Seniors by my count.
ETA: Bolomono will be a SR, so 12.
And possibly Dee Ford, although I thought he could get a medical RS for 2011, so it could be 13.

They have had an effect and will have an effect tomorrow. We will get about 4-6 commits tomorrow. If all of those negatives you mentioned hadn't happened, we'd be looking at a full class probably, with a few players we won't be signing now

no doubt about it... personally, it sucks... guys who had decent info 12 months ago got nothing today... it stems from CamGate, more than likely.
Again, I'm not saying we're hitting the powerball tomorrow, but we could be in decent shape despite the lack of info.

I am just ready for tomorrow to get here. Everyone has a prediction, but they mean very little. I will sleep better tonight if we get Moore.
I do know the coaches have been in good moods today. I expect us to win some and lose some. We will have a class filled with quality, the only question is quantity.

Came from someone that does, but they had no specifics. May mean nothing except it is the dead period and the coaches have busted it for a long time. All they can do now is sit back and wait.

Translates to "I really hope all those negatives hurt your signing day tomorrow, because you are Auburn."

Translates to "You are some cheatng MF'ers, but Saban does it right."

Yep. I hope your signing class is a miserable failure. :DWI:

No, it translates to "God" marketing pulled in some more. Our marketing is different...still marketing, but not "Family/Jesus P. Christopher" related.

Just had Mike Farrell on the radio show, he said he believes Auburn is still a player for Alex Kozan and there's a chance he could sign with Auburn on signing day.

Barton Simmons evaluates talent and that is his focus. He doesn't really have as good of insight into each school chances on a recruit. He may hear this or that, but he is not very accurate on his predictions.

I never believe anything positive that comes from Bammers either......

Nothing to deal with. I would be disappoint if it was anything less.

Ehh... I've heard "family" from a few bama recruits.

Well, fellas. I'm off. I wish you well.
Wait.
Scratch that.
I hope your slumber is labored due to uncertainty with your signing class, and that visions of the Barfield era fill your dreams. Nothing but the worst to you. 'Night.
(WDE, good luck tomorrow. Thoughts and prayers to you and yours...and even if it is going to be a little war chicken, nothing but the best for him/her.)

Its pretty obvious the "Disrespect and embarrass your mother on National TV" marketing works for The Saban.
