That is like me with the UF offense the last two years.

Heh, I remember that back in the Tubs years. Complaining about how the only reason we won games was because our defense held the other team enough to give us enough chances to somehow bumble our way into the endzone.

What I wouldn't give to go back to those days... (minus the who Tuberville part)

Track speed and hits hard as hell. Kid has good size and is pretty new to the game. You have to take a shot on somebody with his measurables. Have you watched Moore's film?

We are only losing like 13 seniors and at most 3 more(if they have great years)...we are going to be doing some serious processing this time next year to bring in 25 recruits and stay under the 85 number.

Wow, I didn't realize that. Of course, I guess that's what having a signing class with like 3 guys left will do to you

Not me. There needs to be a balance and I think Chizik knows this.

Tuberville always did beat UF. Y'all are just one year from "All In"

Knowing and doing it are two different things. Gus will be hard to replace.

I'd take an immovable defense with an anemic offense over an unstoppable offense and an incompetent defense any day of the week.

The only balance we reached this year is both parts sucked equally.

Exactly. I know the best way to win a football game is to score more points than the opponent. That doesn't mean it's going to translate on to the field perfectly.

My who family had multiple problems with Ears the whole time he was here. From his good ole boy BBQ crew to his "pine box" comments made at Ole Miss, I was glad to see him go.

That and he pushed the "All Auburn All Orange" idea more than anybody else

Oh yeah, and he basically quit trying after Jetgate->2004.

I don't care who is coaching the defense( I love BVG) but lets start getting some guys with speed and SIZE. I'm sick of these small lbs, cbs, and safeties. I know its dumb to compare but at the IB this year it was unreal how much bigger those guys from Bammer are than us. I mean do yall think Yoxall does a good job? It seems our players stay the same size or get smaller every year.

Hated this. The old timers will tell you that orange was hardly ever seen at one of our games. I wish we would get back to more navy. I love our all blue unis.

If given the choice of great defense or great offense, I would take defense all day. Even if your offense sucks you can at least get points off of special teams and defense. But every offensive drive ends with you giving the ball back in some way.

Yoxall is one of, if not THE, best in the country. I hate using these excuse so much, but our guys on defense were either a) unbelievably less talented thanks to those abominations of recruiting classes that Tubs left us with, or b) just as talented, but very young in not very well developed. Give them another year or so, especially under BVG.

Gus didn't light the score board up this year.

Saban, Mus, Richt, and whatever Saban disciple gets hired next at UTk will be going after all of the big LBs in the South. Good small LBs will be ignored. Market niche

As much as I hate Pay Dye, he pushed Navy as hard as anybody. We're Big Blue for a reason.

Brb, gonna go look up that quote from him about the Navy jerseys.

At least y'all can get a decent rugby jersey in your school colors. Not so with Gator colors.
