Yall eviscerated me a few weeks ago when I said we were going to have a weak close. See that the beauty of being a pessimist on recruiting; when things go bad you expect it and don't care. Plus I need something to balance out my 14-0 homerism for this upcoming season.

The fact of the matter is it's nearly impossible for Auburn to get a top 5 class every year. The great thing about it though, is with good coaches that are good recruiters, we can do it often enough to still compete at a high level in the SEC. As long as you're top 15 or so every year, you're going to be able to compete, even in this conference. I'm disappointed , as I've stated on here several times, but we're going to be ok. You realize we would have been thrilled about this class five years ago, right?
