Depends on who you ask. I'm not too hopeful

Hard to say. Last I heard, UT wasn't too confident. I know Auburn is involved in his recruitment still, but I don't really get involved with JUCO recruiting.

He's tough to predict. He was really high on UT early, but has cooled since then. UGA and AU could be destinations though. If Diggs keeps leaning towards UF, causing us to recruit CP harder, and we hire an attractive OC, we could land him.

Honestly, I have no prediction at the moment

He has been raving about the recent Ole Miss visit, who knows though.

Dad wants Arik at AU...

quote:

I thought we would know something by now, but Armstead has not made a decision, or at least has not informed anyone of it if he has. Auburn has been in constant contact with Armstead and his father today and remains hopeful, as of a few minutes ago, that his choice will be AU. I think the Tigers are "cautiously optimistic" about their chances. Hopefully, we will hear something tonight.

According to rivals, Auburn coaches are "cautiously optimistic" that Arik will chose Auburn. Auburn coaches have been in contact with Arik's dad a lot today, apparently.

Btw, we're only taking one more WR, and our coaches would rather have Diggs, since he has 4 years. If our coaches feel he is going to UF after his visit next weekend, they'll turn up the pressure on Patterson. If that were to happen, I'd feel pretty good about landing him. We've been recruiting him pretty hard since the beginning

Armond Armstead just told me he plans to announce his college decision tomorrow and that his brother Arik will not attend Cal. #ND #Auburn

Armond also said his decision will be based entirely on where his brother Arik wants to play. I would expect they play somewhere together.

And since Armond cant come to AU (thanks to Nutt and Masoli), would not be to far fetched to think ND is the place.

From everything I'm reading, it sounds like daddy Armstead really wants Arik at Auburn... I hope he gets his wish.

With the sanctions and his ability to not be able to play at USC, we have to be able to find something to get Armond to f'n play here.

One of their insiders on 247 is saying Gunner and Armstead to ND.

It's behind the premium wall so you cant see what is said or which one he is talking about. That's the title. But with that other Tweet posted, they both may go to ND.

Watching the ensuing meltdown about to happen. Me thinks it is about to get kicked into overdrive.

On his visit this past weekend, Chizik told Armond he could enroll and start classes this week.
