Kentucky Sports Radio

The Lexington native and son of former Wildcat, Bill Allen, Beau chose to become Mark Stoops’ quarterback of the future over the opportunity to play in Mike Leach and Neal Brown’s air raid systems. Along with Washington State and West Virginia, he had a dozen scholarship offers from the likes of Georgia, Michigan and Michigan State. Allen is the No. 15 ranked pro-style quarterback in America according to Rivals.

I’m excited about this whole 2020 class. Our coaches are really taking it up a notch on the recruiting trail. This may be our best class yet.

Welcome aboard. I'd say commitments are a bit meaningless until signing day in December but better to get them than not get them.

I haven't seen a second of his game tape but I love this pickup. I just know two things about him.

1) He's a preppy looking kid from Lexington.
2) Dawgnation has already run three different stories about how they didn't offer him.

This could be our best quality class yet for Stoops.
