If transfers counted toward recruiting rankings, our class would be ranked 4th in the country right now.

Is that really true? That's a large jump for a few add on's to the class..

27 points for Grimes and 24 points for Van would put us at 275 points according to their rankings in their respective classes.

Grimes never showed Mac any interest. Mullen is getting kids Mac whiffed on. Van, Emory, Dean, and now Grimes.

hope you are right. LSU picked up a transfer kicker. It would allow LSU to sign another quality recruit at a defense or offense position if he doesn't count against the 25 max.

He is right. Transfer doesn't count like a JUCO.
It's weird but it kind of helps schools out

Transferred from where? See the previous comment about Stidham... if transferring direct from an FBS program, should be fine... *but* likely means they're sitting for a year unless they got some kind of waiver (or were grad transfer).

Try adding the equivalently ranked (247 national ranking) players from the 2018 class to your class using the class calculator. I think you'll find that it doesn't work like you think.

I'm thinking the same..seems like a huge jump...

Whether it helps a ranking is just for bragging rights, feel good ect
We re adding good players to the team, thats all i care about.
Overnight our WR Corps has taken a major upgrade with these new guys.

For real, Florida is about to be stacked at WR. Who will be y'all's QB next year?
Posted on 12/22/17 at 11:46 pm to JohnnyRebel
I would assume Jones. Starting QB's as freshman is more common and Brian Johnson and Mullen are a pretty good 1-2 punch for developing.
It could be Franks or Zaire..but ehh..let's just hope it's Jones lol

Yea...isn't it weird the offense is actually better off than the defense despite the offense sucking worse. So done with power run off tackle and not utilizing play makers. Literally only play calls for play makers were obvious screens. The few times we got creative, we scored. Sadly that was usually only once a game, then back to screens, run off tackle, and play action on third and long.

One of my angriest moments was watching Feleipe Franks just absolutely suck against Georgia. He did everything wrong (wasn't the first or last game), like just didn't do a single thing right. Watching Zaire just sit there stupidly was infuriating.
Then it came in the FSU game when Perine really, honestly wasn't getting it done and we don't even try to run Lemmons until the fourth quarter and he starts moving the ball.
Who knows how Mullen will turn out, but we at least know it's fun to see someone who wants to be at Florida and has past success on offense.

Ah, my bad. I was trying to use logic

The four transfers (Van Jefferson, Trevon Grimes, Marlon Dunlap, and Jean Delance) we've added would put our class at about 257 points, which would be 9th in the country
