Theo wease should be a good replacement for Dom Lovett. Over 1k yards for the Sooners

No offense intended here but this one seems odd. Especially since Burden will be taking an even bigger role next year and y’all’s passing offense wasn’t impressive. Again, not trolling, just curious what the angle is.

Has he been injured? Doesn’t seem like he lived up to the five star ranking

He’s close friends with both burden and our DT. That said, we’re the likely landing spot for QB Leary.

He had a good 2nd year. Not sure about anything that happened last year

Makes sense. I know a lot of Mizzou fans are really high on Sam Horn too and expect him to surpass Cook at some point

Ya but who knows, I think drink is sold on needing someone not named cook or horn for next year

This is a big upgrade, Cook did not have a lot to throw to last season.

Good pick up, was hoping A&M would have drawn some interest.

These dudes sure do get a lot of miles out of some high school ranking

Lol what? We had a very decent receiving corps, easily in the top half of the conference. Cook himself was the issue this season

All we had was a good slot receiver, and a good freshman, but Burden is only 5'11, and Barret Banister.

Lovett could only get open for plush yards, not red zone yards and his YAC was lacking, would often deke into tackles. Also had lots of plays designed for him that wouldn't happen if our offense had been well balanced talent wise.

Basically had no outside receiver who could get open downfield.

We also had no good tight end or backfield options.

Cook spent the entire season overthrowing or underthrowing or not even seeing open receivers on anything more than 10 yards down field. An average QB would have made our offense look much better and likely would have led us to at lease 8 wins.

There is still playing time to be found in the WR group with Dom, Dove, and Bannister leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to go for another WR transfer.

My guess is that Drink is going to go hard at a QB, again. Idk if he will actually land a difference maker. Leary is probably the only one that seems like a maybe, but so many teams are going after him.

We're in a good spot to land Devin leary. If we don't land him, we will try for someone else. If all else fails, Sam Horn will likely be the starting QB.

He's pretty good when healthy but he's had a lingering foot issue for over a year now. Hope he can return to form.

That’s what they hope to improve upon this next year.
