Well you know what they say. Ignore the words and follow the behavior. And the behavior says elias is getting further and further from lsu.
He's obviously not that committed. He's on record saying he's taking not one but two visits to hear the pitch from the greatest coach in the history of college football. Also, one those trips will come out of mom and dad's own pocket.
His recruitment is wide open and that's obvious.

You know who else visited Alabama? Tyrion Davis, Kardell Thomas. I don’t remember but I’m pretty dang sure Stingley visited as well. Lee visited and so did almost everyone else we have recruited over the past decade. They are 18 years old (give or take) and they only get one time like this in their lives. Everyone vying for their attention and trying to convince them and make them feel wanted. It’s just fun for the kids. People said the save thing when Kardell and Tyrion announced their visits last year.

It started with Burton on his Insta live and people asking if Elias was about to decommit. Elias was watching Jermaine’s insta and commented saying “I’m coming to LSU”. Burton said “See there it is” followed by the rest of what was said mentioned by the person above me.

I mean this is after a week in which Ricks was all over Instagram live Pinning positive things about OSU and took pictures with tons of OSU commits in OHIO pictures.
These kids all do this. You shouldn’t get too high or too low with any of this. The only thing we know is that Ricks is going to IMG and will be playing corner with Lejond who is one of his extremely close friends. 5 months is a long time in the life of 17 year olds. Maybe LSU goes 11-1 and locks up a playoff spot. Maybe OSU goes 7-5. Let’s see what happens but not rely on something a kid says or does one time

Just the other side of the equation here. Wiltfong says beginning at around 10:30 that more than 1 OSU commit feels Ricks is coming to Ohio State. Again, the exact opposite of what was said by Burton.
Related side note: I feel much better that Paris Johnson took his visits in the spring and not the fall. If you wait til the fall, it leaves a team that you may decommit from in a lurch much more than if you do so in the spring/summer. I know kids want to go to games etc. but that is always playing with fire.
