The six-year, $30 million contract that football coach Kevin Sumlin signed last week with Texas A&M contains buyout provisions that would result in Sumlin being paid all of the money remaining on his contract if he is fired without cause at any point during the deal.
Yea it's easy to create 'cause.'
You can't beat LSU! Fired
You can't win 10 games ever year! Fired
You can't outrecruit Texas! Fired
You can't win the SEC West! Fired
Those things are not easy, but when you're paid $5MM a year to do those things, firing you for cause is easy.

Lost my faith in Sumlin today, this is maybe the worst day in A&M recruiting history since I have followed it.

Lulz. A&M fans feeling all prideful over their endowment. All that money has really helped the DC search.

Don't break your arm off patting yourself on the back. Most Ags knew that without Malik we were going to lose Mack.
