I'm not even sure how you people are arguing McKinney's status. He is one of the best returning defensive players in the nation, and it really isn't up for debate.

Post one link where anyone states this that isn't a State blog.

Yeah. Mullen in year 5 compiled the same record that Freeze did in year 1 coming off a 2-10 season. #winning

So by this logic Freeze will only have winning records from now on that are progressively better than the proceeding year until he only has undefeated seasons till the end of time, correct???

Here is an article explaining why he is a rare talent. He had to play MLB this year, will likely be OLB in the league unless he keeps gaining muscle mass.

LINK /

Projected to be a top 10 LB in the draft next year, top 3 in the SEC.

LINK

Projected for 2nd round in 2014 draft here.

LINK

Bleacher report had him as a top 20 pick in the 2014 draft here.

LINK

As I said, it really isn't debatable that the kid is a great player. Not to mention that 6'5, 235 lbs, a 4.5 range 40, and 7% body fat is unheard of. Which is why he made CBS Sports freaks list last year, here.

Shouldn't be hard for LSU to recruit him since he lives right next to BR
