Plus I don't see where he would be overly impressed with AU over MSU. I've been to both and seen the facilities. Right now with MSU new facility, ours are better than theirs, besides the stadium. There is about just as much to do in Auburn as in Starkville also.

I dont keep up with MSU's facilities but Im comfortable saying Auburn's entire campus and city is better than Starkville

Also, Auburn is located between Atlanta and Birmingham while Starkville is near . . . ?

You don't have to because they aren't better than ours. The poster doesnt know what he is talking about.

Campus at AU is similar, the scenery is nicer. The town itself as far as nightlife and food is about the same.

How far of a drive to either? It isn't that close. Starkville you can get to Tuscaloosa or Tupelo in about 1 hr 15 min. Jackson in 2 hours. Granted Atlanta and Birmingham are better than those, but there isn't a city like those in the entire state of MS. Plus how often would a recruit really drive over an hour to one of those cities?

OH and we have casinos within a 45 min drive

I like your tenacity, but it is in fact futile in purpose.

If you are a blue chip guy, you should take as many visits as possible - you are cheating yourself otherwise, IMO

I agree. Just don't tell a school you are committed if you are gonna keep visiting, because you aren't committed.

ATL is about two hours off and BHam is an hour and a half.

We built a new indoor practice facility in 2011, and I believe the locker rooms got renovated as well.

Lulz

You are the one that don't know what you are talking about.

By all means though, I'm sure $16mil(2011) in Auburn is > $25-30mil(current) in Starkville**

We already had way better facilities than your school before we updated our practice faculties and locker rooms. You are a tard or just too much of a homer to see that I guess.

Well have you seen our new union? Have you been in our student rec center? I think y'all are all speaking on things you don't know about. Both sides.

Also doesn't include the new basketball arena, the new dorms, the new student union, the new student recreation & wellness center ($72 mil), etc.

Exactly. We are also redoing the athletic dorm(Sewell hall) now. AU is always renovating and rebuilding.
