I think Ward ends up at State. Just pure speculation though. If he does go there and join Quay, those would be the anchors of a potentially great class.

If Ward chooses State, it will have a lot to do with Quay. They are really good friends and Quay is talking up in State kids playing together at State. He is also after Richie Brown and AJ Jefferson

Apparently we have different definitions of "great."

I meant great as in terms of Ms. State, Not that they will have the greatest class of all time.

A top 25 national class is great for us but still only puts us 9th in the SEC.

We are currently 25th on Scout and 24/7

Probably won't finish there when other teams fill out their classes.

And 41st on rivals and probably about the same on ESPN.

Rankings-wise, it's much better than Scout for football

Scout has Arik Armstead as the No.1 Overall prospect. I don't check the rankings all that much, but from I remember, Arik wasn't even a Top 50 player on atleast one of them. That's crazy. Most of them had him in the Top 15-20.

Plus I see scout doesn't even show Jameis Winston as being committed. Did I miss something or do they just not believe his commitment that he made on ESPN?

Scout has Armstead evaluated at OT, where he very well may be the #1 prospect in the country. Unfortunately, he insists on playing DE in college, so Rivals has him evaluated there, which accounts for the difference in rankings. Also, Scout has a policy that whenever a commitment starts taking official visits to other schools, he is considered a 'soft verbal', which is what Winston is currently listed as on their website.

I think he is committed just as a soft verbal because he is visiting Ohio State and Bama

As blzr pointed out, he knows... Barrett Trotter isn't coming back so we need to add more QBs.
