Hubbs is sunshine pumping per the usual. He knows FSU has this in the bag and he's trying to make the disappointed Tennessee fans feel better about Lyle because he ALMOST got a program changing recruit.

@BSonnone Mississippi has produced 69 4/5star recruits from 2007-2016. Just 1 has gone to school outside of Miss or a neighboring state. 0 since 2008.

And the last time Mississippi's top-rated prospect signed w/ school outside of state was 2010 (OL Shon Coleman, Auburn). #FSU facing history

The last time a Mississippi high school had the number 1 rated RB prospect in the nation, he signed with Tennessee. And the one before that, signed with Oklahoma.

You mean back when there weren't recruiting rankings and a white man was president? Did your grandpappy give you this stat?

How old are you? You do realize that football existed before Hugh Freeze, right?

With leather helmets and such? I'm too young to remember Marcus Dupres' recruitment but old enough to realize it has absolutely nothing to do with Cam's. But keep putting out pointless stats papaw

So most really good Mississippi high school football players that don't go to OM, MSU or USM go to Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU , Vanderbilt or Tennessee ?!?!

What a stupid stat by that FSU writer... Hell, They recruit Florida, Alabama, Georgia, East Tennessee and South Carolina... More than enough talent in those states to not have to worry with recruiting and offering Mississippi kids.

My uncle/booster at FSU says it's in the "bag". Said he's sold on Jimbo's extension and stepping in for Cook . Hope he is wrong but he has strong ties,(My uncle, not Cam). No I'm not someone with sauces.
I also told him to lick my nuts to be fair :(

Dontae Walker was actually the top recruit in the country in '98, but as WIO pointed out, rankings barely existed and mean jack shite then. Especially in MS.

Actually it was 1999.

He was a Junior when I was a Senior at Clinton.
