Like it or not, Riley has the right to take a job at USC, and Williams has a right to enter the portal and follow him there.

Williams is in the transfer portal. Any school can pursue him.
He went to OU to play for Riley and it makes sense he would want to continue when his coach leaves. That was one reason the transfer portal exists, so players can transfer due to coaching changes.

This is news to quite literally no one.
What they're trying to explain to you is that it is still illegal for Riley to recruit his former player to join him.(if there is evidence of that)

Still not an issue of legality where the NCAA is concerned. USC could have tied Muschamp’s buyout terms to that, but that is between him and the school.
Once players are in the portal now they are free game for anyone….and good luck proving there were any discussion prior to that.
OU isn’t stupid, and isn’t going to go on some vigilante hunt to bring down Riley over some recruits, tampering, or whatever else is being said on these forums. They know they won’t succeed and would be an absolutely terrible PR move in the process.
