Since when is responding "worked up"? I observed something and commented on it. Carry on as you were...

So UGA fans can’t talk about a weird situation because it involves Alabama?

Other thread they float about what UGA is becoming
What does another thread have to do with this thread. Again, you sound insecure as hell.

The number of dawg fans and posts in this thread that has nothing to do with their team is quite telling. Tua ripping their heart out on a national stage a few months ago has their Bama hatred and fear at an all time high. Love it. Keep it coming dawgs...

This is correct.

It’s a recruiting board for the entire SEC.
Your team is in the midst of the greatest football dynasty, yet Bama fans are being sensitive about a team they see as inferior. I don’t get it.

Bama fans are sensitive? You guys are on a thread about a Bama player that you guys didn't even recruit. Now if we were swarming posts about UGA players, you'd have a point. But ya don't. 26-23 is in your heads. Badly. You guys seem almost as butt-hurt as L7U fans at this point.

Oh poor glory. I understand it is hard to fathom a kid never enrolled at UW, was released from his NLI(meaning eligible to play immediately), and then committed to UA, a program that finished 2nd in his recruitment. Not sure why you little puppies have such a hard time understanding that.
But keep trying and eventually you and your fellow puppies will become house broken and maybe gain an understanding of how all this works.

Yes...

One guy disagrees with you in any meaningful context and you have how many Bama posters swarming to insist there is nothing wrong or weird here?
Newsflash, the situation can be "weird" without Alabama doing anything untoward or unacceptable. It's not every day that a kid signs an NLI, moves to the location of the school, but doesn't yet enroll... then changes his mind and is given a full waiver from the initial school he signed with. That is indeed "weird" in the context of college football recruiting. Does it mean that Alabama did anything outside the lines? Not in and of itself. Could they have? Sure... but I doubt it. They didn't need to IMO... Bama led in his recruitment for a long time... not terribly surprising that if Seattle isn't working out for him, he'd ask about the option to go with his other top school.
With that said, quick definition of sensitive:
quote:
highly responsive or susceptible: such as a (1) : easily hurt or damaged; especially : easily hurt emotionally
As in, the type of reaction you guys had here (and elsewhere) when anyone questions whether you may or may not have done anything out of bounds...
None of these posts have shite to do with a prior game, but rather the situation being discussed. The incessant need for some Alabama fans to bring up past games as though they somehow have relevance to what is being discussed is merely an outward sign of the insecurity that you are expressing... you need to feel superior, thus the need to tout prior wins and win streaks... Most of us don't actively think about past games unless there is a reason for it...
Frankly, it should be embarrassing for you to read back through some of your posts. One would think that with the level of success that Alabama has had over the past decade plus, that you would be above it by now... This does not give me much confidence for how our fanbase will handle even one national championship during Kirby's tenure, if we're lucky enough to make it happen.

Per a Washington fan.
quote:
Dad wanted him at Bama the whole time.
Kaho needed to take a foreign language class to qualify for UW before enrolling, but he committed to UW anyways knowing that he would have to take a summer class. This gave the opportunity for his dad to continue to push Bama since he never enrolled at UW. Kaho passed the class but then his family submitted a request for a release to his LOI 2 days before training camp. His dad ("anonymous family source") went to the Seattle Times with a story for people to sympathize for Kaho the same day they filed a request for his release. What else is Petersen supposed to do in that situation but grant it?
Kaho's dad has been going through a divorce since last spring. He got desperate enough for money recently that he was calling up the parents of other UW class of 2018 recruits asking for money. They reported it to the UW compliance office.
Not difficult to put two and two together. Dad got what he wanted. Kaho wanted to stay at UW.

Kaho never wanted to go to UW in the first place. He got pressured to sign early but Bama is always where he wanted to be. Just didn’t have the green light to sign last December. Glad it worked out for the kid, even though I do feel for UW.
