What about this kid Brad Stewart out of New Orleans? People are saying MSU has a very good shot at him. Why do we have a shot at the number 7 player in Louisiana?

Maybe because LSU recruits on a nat'l scale. Same reason Ole Miss just got a high ranked kid out of the Bayou a few weeks ago. Maybe he's just not a fit for their system or they are on better players

He wants to play CB, not high on our board right now for that position. He's a gamer but is really slow (ran a 4.76 40 recently at the opening New Orleans). Would look at him as a safety but we're in very good right now on Delpit, Harris and Stevens.
Only CB in state they want right now is Labruzza.

It's either grades or they don't see him as a fit. We are only taking 1 CB maybe 2 this year and it looks like they want Vincent out of Texas.

From what I've read, it's an MSU and Florida battle right now. The kid has the grades, but like others have mentioned, LSU recruits at a national level. I'll gladly take him.

He's a really solid player but with the setup in 2018 is all elite talent, there's no need for a really good corner in 2017. He plays the ball well and has won MVP at a few camps at he CB position. Kid is a football player, not a camp warrior so I don't care about no 4.76

He camped again for LSU and still didn't get an offer, will do it again soon too. Problem is they seem more as a safety with his lack of top end speed and we're loaded in the class right now with who they think we'll get at safety.
