He would have been an excellent addition, but our season isn't ruined because he chose Missouri. We will be fine. I'm hoping that some of our commits and a few of the young guys step up this year. I'm excited to see Keante Minor, Herndon, Wade, and Funderbritches.

Yo. I can't wait til whoever their qb is gets sacked on every pass play and the camera cuts to DGB throwing his hands in the air. Or the ball is woefully under or over-thrown, and the camera cuts to DGB looking exasperated shaking his head. Because we all know what he'll be thinking.

I live in Springfield, obviously, and I've felt Mizzou for days now.
So I was pretty prepared for it, and don't really care much.
Missouri isn't going anywhere in this Conference, and DGB doesn't change that.

I know BMFP develops talent! I know we say stars don't matter! But damnit! I wanted a top recruiting class! You know where ESPN ranks our recruiting class? 11! We're behind fricking VANDERBILT for Christ's sake! VANDERBILT!!! HALLELUJAH! HOLY shite! WHERE'S THE TYLENOL!

If Miz can find a QB that can place a throw worth a shite it will be hard to out jump DGB for a ball. But, the chances of that (a well thrown ball) while facing SEC defensive lines are low.

Exactly, people are getting hung up on the #1 overall recruit thing and are forgetting that it's just one recruit that only plays one position. Mizzou is acting like this is a program changer and now they're ready for SEC play because they got the best high school player in the nation.
How is DGB gonna get looks when Mizzou plays Bama? The line play is gonna be like putting a cute newborn baby kitten into a friggin wood chipper on steroids.

I hope the DGB signing will persuade Gardner to stick with Arkansas.

He chose one of the SEC teams where he will have the least impact, Ole Miss and perhaps Vandy are the other two.
Now, if he had gone to Bama, LSU, Auburn, State, USC, Georgia, Florida, or Tennessee, that would change the game.
Mizzou's dink and drunk offense, with no running game, will be not very effective with or without DGB. And Mizzou's defense is really poor.

Congrats to DGB and Mizzou. He would've been a great add, but some Hog fans are really confusing me. It's not like we are weak at that position. He stayed in-state where he will be THE star. Can't blame him for that.
Quite frankly, I'm more excited about the defensive talent we're getting and looking forward to the development on that side of the ball with our new coaches and a more competitive attitude defensively.
