I'm just making that up lol. Those were the DGB rumors floating around yesterday. I just copied them and applied them to Diamond. Arkansas has no insiders.

Not really excited about him. I would take both jacobs and diamond over him in a heart beat.

We've led the SEC in passing the last 3 years. I don't see that changing anytime soon.
I left the signing event a little early, but I left with a lot of enthusiasm. Petrino likes this class a lot. Needs met.
The more I think about it, I really think DGB fricked himself. I don't know if there's a better coaching staff than the one we have for maximizing talent. I never realized how tall Veltkamp is. I guess I've never really paid attention. Dude is like 6'5".
The guys we got today are solid and I know our staff will get every last ounce of potential out of them.

They compare Dean to DJ Williams, but I don't think he has DJ's speed.

Everyone ranted and raved about this class before the DGB fiasco. the size and athleticism is unreal. Losing out on DGB didn't change any of that.

I don't know. I think Tennessee is abandoning the running game and will be running the June Jones' offense.

So he is really slow. DJ never had elite TE speed either...DJ excelled because he ran routes well, had soft hands, and a shitload of determination. He was also an excellent person and one of my favorite arkansas players but he was never a speed demon.

I left with a new appreciation for Cowan and Cordale Boyd. Those boys are going to be good.
Hell, everybody looked good. I wasn't as impressed with Demetrius Dean, just based on his speed, but they showed film of him making some great catches that shows great instinct.
I think that kid needs someone bearing down on him, and I know he will get that from this staff.

Petrino spoke very highly of him in his press conference today. I think he will surprise a lot of people over the next few years.
