Ya I ws kidding. I grew up with some of the most privalged kids in the country, and a lot of them were lame as hell.

I haven't blamed anyone for anything, rather I pointed out that at the end of the day, Saban may have obtained a slight upgrade at DT but it comes at a high PR cost that will likely be used by every team in the SEC. I don't think the benefits will outweigh the costs.
How does one explain what CNS did to Philon, by stating that commitments are unilateral, binding only on the athlete and not the institution. Surely our coaching staff can count. This is in my opinion far worse than processing athletes that haven't earned playing time.
Why are you offering to two DTs if you only have 1 scholarship and your class is full? How would you feel about your university if Philon's dad or coach held a press conference to address Nick Saban's recruiting ethics? It would not be pretty and Bama has no defense other than we are simply the most ruthless, self-indulgent school in America. I don't think a four star tackle is worth that potential PR nightmare.
