Agreed. I feel like this is a situation where his high school coach needs to sit him down, tell him the real story (that Bama does not want him) and encourage the kid to go to one of the other SEC schools who would love to have his signature.
I'm a diehard Bama fan, but if Nick Saban told my son he might have to take a greyshirt depending on how the numbers work out, my kid would be going elsewhere.
