Pollard update from Sporting News. Cant believe im even posting this.
Devonta Pollard is now the center of attention. He's the lone top-25 recruit in the Class of '12 who has not picked his college destination.
Pollard, a 6-7 forward from DeKalb, Miss., is believed to be down to Texas and Alabama but hasn't ruled out Mississippi State, Missouri or Georgetown.
Pollard, the No. 22-overall player according to Rivals.com, is lean but athletic. He is at his best in the open court. He shows a near unstoppable pull-up jumper and is an adept shot blocker because of his quick leaping ability. He must improve his technique as a jumpshooter and get stronger.
Other uncommitted players in Rivals' top 100: No. 58 Christopher Obekpa (Oregon, Providence, DePaul, Cincinnati, St. John's, UConn), No. 63 Anthony January (Memphis, New Mexico, UNLV), No. 67 Torian Graham (N.C. State, Boston College, Clemson), No. 72 Savon Goodman (Kansas, Seton Hall, USC) and No. 82 Montrezl Harrell (Kentucky, N.C. State, Cincinnati).

I called it a few pages back. I went with Israel instead of Italy though. Italy could get into the race if they are willing to import collard greens for him, per my source. Not surprising for a guy from rural MS.

Different Harrell. I'm talking about Virginia Tech signee Montrezl Harrell, not Virginia transfer KT Harrell.

Gotcha. I seem to remember us being mentioned as a potential destination, but he is headed to UK isn't he?

Yea I saw a highlight of a AAU game where his mom stopped the game and made him get off the court because he wasnt playing well.

Anyone else remember Bama not signing a single player? I have a terrible memory, but can't remember it ever happening.
Can't believe the front line Bama will have next year. Once upon a time Bama had some of the best front lines in the country.

Pollard update in the BOL war room didn't really say anything. Will probably have a decision by the end of June.
