And that's what calipari said.
He is pretty notorious for coach speak.
I can see the comparison with Taylor though. He's a great shot blocker with a developing offensive game and off the charts athleticism.

Wish there was YouTube stuff on him.

Shannon Hale, PF, St. Louis Eagles – The Eagles had a big second half comeback, and Hale was the reason why. Hale was especially impressive driving right and going by a bigger man and finishing with athleticism at the rim. He then mixed in a pair of perimeter jumpers, and was solid on the defensive glass. The long time Alabama commitment put the team on his back and made plays at a big time.

Shannon Hale, PF, St. Louis Eagles – Early on against the Lightning, Hale looked unsure of himself, but mid-way through the second half Hale stepped up his intensity and scored it from the high post. He knocked down a pair of mid-range jump shots, threw down a put back slam and made a nice step through move to score on the block. Hale was the primary reason the Eagles managed to come back and steal a game from the Lightning. Hale finished with 15 points and seven boards

Who do you see filling out this class?
Posted on 5/14/12 at 9:05 am to RollTide4Ever
I honestly have no idea but I'd love for our class to be Taylor, Hale, Simmons, Sina/Harris, and then take a big risk and try to sign Mostella and get him into school.

I would love to see us go after Steven Haney. Saw on twitter that we visited him a while back. We could use a shooter and someone who actually knows how to play basketball.

Have you seen anything on Mostella from the AAU circuit this year? I don't know who he's playing for or if he's even playing.

Calipari compared him to Anthony Davis on defense. His wt is normal and he's entering his senior yr.
So Calipari is giving scouting reports on high school recruits now? I would be interested to read that. Link? (I am doubtful that a link is forthcoming, because I do not believe this was ever said.)

Either SE Elite or the Stingrays

Mostella is playing for SE Elite. I found this video. J. Taylor and that kid from Miss for next years class that one of you mentioned the other day is in it.

I don't know where it came from but I'm sure it was an interview with Taylor where he talked about each coach. It's like Pitino compared him to Dieng.

Do you know of any of his stats so far?

Now I can see that completly and I would be happy if he turned out like Dieng. Now this whole Davis talk I dont get.

Yeah Dieng is a much better comparison. An earlier comparison to Jermareo wasn't that bad either. Hopefully he can develop a jumpshot like Jermareo did.

What's the latest on Pollard
Posted on 5/14/12 at 10:09 am to Bryant91092
From looking at that video he has a jumpshot. Dont know how consistent it is though.

So Taylor SAYS Calipari compared him to Davis? Lies told to recruits don't count as legit scouting info. Barnes is comparing Pollard to Durant. Does that count?
