Jimmie Taylor will also be at our game if he gets out of his practice on time.

We finally got him on campus to visit. I was excited until I saw where he played AAU ball. It's not Grant's fault and we may have had no shot regardless but damn I hate AAU basketball.

I know we usually get the Challenge players we want, but I think he's just destined to come here anyways being Erwin Dudley's cousin and an Alabama fan in general.

Pollard came with his mom to the Georgetown game. Ostendorf said they both enjoyed it and he'll have an update at some point this week. I wasn't able to confirm whether Taylor did in fact make it to Tuscaloosa for the game or not.

Pollard was in Starkville Saturday for our game that we won vs West Virginia and had a Blast. He was seen hanging out with Rodney Hood, and MSU commitment Gavin Ware after the game.

The season State is having up to this point has to help our chances of landing him.

Winning definitely doesn't hurt your chances.

Always a good sign when mom joins them for the trip.

This is from Evan Daniels:

Alabama assistant coach John Brannen stopped by Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow to watch 2013 PF Devin Williams practice.

Brannen was also in Lexington to watch 2014 wing prospects Trey Grundy and Jordan Green.

I wish we could just skip this year, unless we get Devonta . 2013 and 2014 are going to be strong classes

What yall think about KT Harrell? Sophomore Virginia guard whos transferring. Originally from Montgomery. I don't know if he's good or not but if we aren't able to get Devonta Pollard we will be taking someone in.

Also, watched Travon Landry, Junior PG and Tennessee commit from Bob Jones 2 nights ago...he did not impress me at all. No wonder we haven't offered him. He is a role player on HS team and at the very best he is the 3rd best player on his team. I'm okay with letting this one out of state.

DeOntaye Curtis- Hoover.

Hearing he is committed to Oklahoma St. This is another one we have not offered and can let out of state unless he shows something really impressive. As long as he goes awy from the SEC so be it. He is a good player, but we are expecting the 2013 class to be a big one. And Shannon Hale is definitely better than him. After this years meh terrible class...expect big things, yall

I'm wondering what we will do about KT. He could play the 3 I do believe and fill a void when Mitchell leaves. I'm all for taking him, especially if we can't get Pollard. I wonder if our staff will reach out to him.

He was a stud back when he was in Montgomery. I used to read about him every day in the paper cause he had such huge stats. He had a decent year last year by all accounts. I think he'd be a decent addition to our team, and better than any other SF we could pick up in the spring period besides Pollard. I'd take him and do my best to find a top juco PF

:fingerscrossed:

The silver lining though, atleast we will have this starting lineup next year:

Releford
Lacey
Levi
Cooper/Jacobs
Gueye

Bench:
Hank
Eblen
Coop/Jacobs
An improved Carl.

All we need is one big body to provide depth. We will still have a chance to be a good team with everyone growing up and gaining experience...and then reload with 2013 and '14 recruiting classes.

Bham has let me know that our coaches have been going to see a lot of 2013 and 2014 guys lately. Another guy I heard we went and saw today was Craig Victor. It's good to set the foundation with these guys, but I really hope we're finding a juco big man that we could sign.
