11-26

Not a huge sample size, but a hell of a lot better than anyone else did.

1) Gary Waites - never heard of him
2) Ernest Shelton - he was the first guy i thought of
3) Eric Washington - never heard of him
4) Rod Grizzard - i remember him as more of a dunker, i guess he could shoot it pretty good
5) Mykal Riley - true dat. that mother fricker could stroke. i forgot about him

also, Mo Williams and healthy Ron Steele.

ernest shelton could drain 3s all night in coleman.

I haven't given up on Cooper/Randolph, they should improve with maturation.

I did some research to confirm my feeling, and he did indeed shoot 42% from 3 after the game in Auburn.

Intredasting.

He looked much more confident late that's for sure. looked VERY good against Creighton.

IMO, the best I've ever seen shoot it for UA. Auto-fricking-matic.

Thought about Moe Williams, he did have a nice stroke.

All of these guys can shoot it. Lacey, Ranolph, and Cooper. Just look at the last game against Creighton. Randolph and Lacey did well.

Devon Walker (Winter Haven, Fla./Winter Haven) –Walker originally committed to Central Florida but will now decide between Alabama and Florida Friday. The 6-foot-6 wing player took an official visit to Alabama in February and took an unofficial to Florida also. Walker is more of a scoring wing but is capable of stepping over and running the point as well.

Now this is the type of shite I like to see. Here are some highlights of him. I think that he will play the 2/3.

His body looks college ready, but I only saw him make layups and dunks so I have no idea how good he actually is.

Darrell Johnson (St. Louis, Mo./Parkway North) – Johnson is fresh off a visit to Virginia Tech last weekend and is mulling a trip to Memphis this weekend. Alabama and Kansas State have also expressed interest in the 6-foot-8, 220 pound power forward. Averaging 16 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior at Parkway North, Johnson can bring a physical presence to the interior.

The thing that I noticed is that he runs the floor non stop and plays good defense. IDK but I like him. Hope we get him. So how many scholarships would be available next year have if we take 3 this year?

Just two, that's why I'm cool with Walker/Pollard or Walker or Pollard and some juco pf.

I say go ahead with the 3. THey are all good players. I mean who are we going to wait on? I dont think we get Mostella or Sina honestly. So Taylor and Hale is fine with me if Retin can come in and make some noise at the PG.

I think we get Sina back, no need to press that. We need a heir apparent to Releford and there's none of that left in this class. No need to go full schollie allotment. Hale, Taylor, and a pg should be the goal.

I like our chance at getting either Sina or Kendal Harris. I'd prefer Harris actually.

This from one of the BOL posters that seems to be pretty spot on with info.

I wouldn't believe that. I mean he'll be a senior next year anyways.

Isn't his family pretty well off? He could maybe pay his own way for a year. Or am I pulling that out of my arse? I seem to remember seeing someone on another board mentioning that in a thread speculating about how the basketball scholarship numbers are going to work.
