His learning disability really hurt him, more than I thought.
Do you know exactly what his disability is?

That's not unexpected. I'm not even sure he'll take official visits to us or MSU. He can easily travel to both places and has dozens of times.

Just saw a interview on youtube with him and his mom and she said that where ever Devonta goes he will play at most two years and then go Pro. I think he will be a solid college player but I just think that maybe they think he is better than he is. Hope we get him anyway.

Alabama had a three-point plan going into its first-round SEC tournament game Thursday against South Carolina. "These last couple days at practice, we've been preaching, Attack the rim, get fouled, get to the line," freshman guard Levi Randolph said. The plan didn't include 3-point shots because, well, let's be honest. "We're not really a good 3-point shooting team," freshman forward Nick Jacobs said. "Coach (Antony Grant) said keep attacking and go to the free-throw line."

IMHO GREAT coaching, let's go make a run in the Tourney this year, hopefully UGA whooping Miss St 71 - 61 put the bullet between the eyes for St getting Pollard, this is Grant's chance to get a marquee victory heading into the NCAA tourney

He can play the 4. I don't think we are after a legitimate power type forward. We missed on some guys in the early signing period.

Not sure but we couldn't get qualified by taking the ACT and he took it like 4 or 5 times when he was trying to qualify for Arkansas coming out of HS.

Not exactly sure, but his HS screwed him out of getting eligible out of HS.

Wanted to say congrats buddy 1st time since Gottfried Bama is dancin'
I HOPE Pollard's Momma doesn't fall for that slimy snake's pitches when Calipari visits, I think both are too far, hope I'm right

As high school seasons wind down and the spring approaches, new names will continue to pop up. Sam Singer, a guard out of Florida, has received some buzz and has picked up a number of scholarship offers.
quote:
“I turned into a combo guard this year,” Singer said. “I played some off the ball. If I’m a point guard I can score, but I’m also distributing and getting in the lane creating for other people. When I’m a two I can either be a shooter or a scorer depending the role I need to play.”
quote:
“Alabama was probably the first or second school to contact me,” Singer added. “They contact me a lot. I’d say Alabama, Indiana, Virginia and Harvard are probably the four schools that contact me the most.” Singer said those four schools have found ways outside of calls to stay in touch with him. “They all showed up to a game this year,” Singer said. “They get in touch through email and Facebook and whatever way they can because they can only call me once per month.” Singer, who has taken unofficial visits to Miami, UCF, Alabama, Boston College and Indiana, said he’s still in the beginning stages of his recruitment.
quote:
“I’m pretty much wide open. I don’t plan on narrowing it down until after the summer because there may be some other schools that come into play after the upcoming AAU season.”
The update was from scout but here's his rivals page. He's a 2013 guard

Looks like he might be the backup plan if we can't get Sina to come back. I kind of like the idea of a taller PG though.

It'd be nice to have a PG that is a facilitator but can hit the open 3
