In our offense a lot of wide receivers will look like running backs.
Yes we do have a lot of commitments now but the decommitments are imminent in today's recruiting world. Many don't believe we hold on to the 2 Rome players left for us and most are not confident Provens stays.

Why LSU can't haz good RBs in 2018?

Kinda odd LSU doesn't have a elite RB commit. Aren't they losing their top two backs after this year?
A elite RB could come in and play right away.

We'll get an elite back by the time signing day gets here.

There just aren't many around this cycle. Fabian Franklin is that guy but he might not qualify.
Joiner likes LSU but he may be more of an athlete and I think he ends up at Bama or auburn when it's all said and done
Next year LSU will get 2-3 elite guys though

Exactly what I've been thinking..I don't see why rbs aren't knocking down the door @ LSU right now. I get the changes and kids wanting to see the offense..but if you want immediate playing time, as most kids do these days, come to LSU..play as a freshman.

You answered your own question.

I have heard from some Ft. Myers people that Curry is the real deal.

Curry is the best of the backs LSU has had committed for this class.

I 100% agree with this. He's woefully underrated and should be a 4* before it's all said and done. Perfect fit for LSU's system imo

You could say that about the elite kids at all the schools aside from the top 5 every year.
Kid could go to South Carolina/North Carolina, Oregon State, Indiana, TCU etc. and be the guy easier than at LSU right? LSU is more elite than any of those schools and it isn't close

Joiner won't end up at Alabama. He made some comments this weekend guaranteeing he won't sign with us. He even said Alabama was only in his Top 6 because of the person handling his recruitment.
None of us want him anyway. He'll be a cancer in the locker room wherever he signs.
