They offered a quarterback after Fields visit, turned up the heat on another quarterback before he committed elsewhere, and even though the name escapes my mind, I'm fairly certain there was a third 2018 QB that FSU offered or began to show interest in since his visit.
The CB's to FSU were lazy and guesses. Everything that the reporters are putting out right now are guesses. Relax and stop trying to be the smartest guy in the room, and enjoy following the process

Just poked around in a Fields thread on their 247 board. Holy moly they have some hate.
One guy over there seems pretty well connected with Georgia from an FSU perspective and set them straight on a few points. But one of their posters is convinced we're paying everyone (probably) and is oblivious to the fact that FSU also has boosters. That's the ACC mentality though. The SEC is the only conference that ponies up the $$$

I want us to pull fields but just imagine if you guys get him, the east could be stacked. UGA with Eason/Fromm, UF with fields/Franks, and cocks with Bentley? Hopefully the east is on track to be the better division again.

This mornings 247 insider nuggets said UGA leads for Fields. I think it's one or the other, but Kirby will check with JF before he accepts Corral's commitment

Between the two, I would much rather have Fields. With the depth we have at QB right now, another pro style guy would probably suffer from not getting enough reps early in his career. Fields can do damage with his legs, so if Eason plays two more, Fromm gets his season...Fields seems like a better plug and play option after backing up for two years.
After listing that timeline out, I honestly don't know why either guy would come to UGA. Florida has a much clearer path to PT.
