FWIW, I think Barnes is a better coach and I’d rather have him than Crean. I just mean that it’s not like one is coach K and the other is Johnny Jones.

71% of CBs show Kessler to UGA.

I understand the thought process of Kessler to Duke... but... I wouldn’t count out Crean just yet. If he shows he can put a solid product on the court next year, Kessler will for sure be looking at us.

A lot of people put their CB to Georgia in early. Now, it’s unclear where he’s going so even if you don’t believe in the original pick, it doesn’t make a ton of sense to switch based on how they reward points.

BY FAR, the biggest need on the team. Need a few kids that can bring the ball down reliably.

Yeah, I get it and I don't know that UGA has a lead or anything - but the guy earlier in this thread made it sound like there was "no chance" Kessler would come to Athens and, between family, home state, legacy and early CBs - certainly a good chance the Dawgs could be the destination. I mean, Father, Uncle, Brother all playing for the home state school - that right there is a super long history between the Kessler family and UGA.

For someone to say “no shot/chance” are highly misinformed... especially if we make the tournament next season.

Crean needs to be given some time. I don’t think he’s horrible. He’s always been a great recruiter. At Indiana he got Cody Zeller, James Blackmon, Yogi Ferrel, Noah Vonleh, Thomas Bryant. All as 5 stars. He even landed guys that exceed expectations like Victor Oladpio, Troy Williams, OG Anonouby, Juwan Morgan. It’s impressive what he’s getting at UGA right now considering they have a losing record.
