Thanks, for some reason I was reading Philip but thinking of Blake. Corrected above.

quote:yes. king is 19, DJ is 50. Its garbage having dj that low but it is what it is. Like how king isn't even in the rivals 250
ESPN has King over DJ?

I’m surprised that the top ranked QB could ever be anything less than a five star. I guess you learn something new every day

I mean I have watched them both and obviously you always can be wrong with these things, but DJ has always seemed like the clear #1 in my eyes.

Huge get for jimbo. King is the best QB in the 2020 class.

Well then clearly you should start a television network, then grow it to be as powerful as ESPN, and then everyone will believe you instead of ESPN
Obviously I’m just messing with you, but clearly your argument is with the nations Premier sports network, not us.

Well sure, but a lot of people heavy into recruiting would already tell you that ESPN is the worst at rating players. I mean, they had Stingley Jr, who will take up starting corner duties for DBU this year, ranked as a 4 star. Anyone who has seen Stingley play would know that’s a complete joke.

If this particular analysis by ESPN wasn’t in our favor I would be agreeing with you that ESPN is horrible when it comes to college football player analysis. But it is in our favor so clearly you are wrong and ESPN is the best possible most amazingly wonderful incredibly knowledgeable source for this subject matter (at this moment)

No doubt ESPN and Rivals compete with each other for the title “least knowledgeable recruiting information source”

It’s not really close at this moment in time IMO. They are both bad but at least Rivals attempts to update theirs. ESPN updates theirs like 4 times a year tops.

We are getting off topic now though all that matters now is the king is the number one rated quarterback in the US

King will be a 5* portal qualifier...give it time. Riley knows.

Tennessee and Texas A&M Are both the flagship universities in their states, both have stadiums that seat over 100,000, and both have multiple national championships.

Except no one considers A&M the flagship in Texas except for A&M fans, but we'll save that debate for tRant.

Clearly you did not want to save that discussion for the rant or you wouldn’t of posted it. Texas A&M is the largest, oldest, most prestigious university in Texas. Openin it’s doors and educating students a decade before little brother in Austin broke ground. Yes they have enjoyed greater athletic success through the years but there was a time in history where Texas A&M led them in football national championships by 3 to 0

A&M doesn’t have 3 national championships

Why would it matter to us what anyone considers?
In Texas, flagship status isn’t a popularity contest.
University flagships are designated by the state legislature for actual financial reasons.
Since affiliating with the SEC, I’ve learned that in other states, flagship is more or less a meaningless moniker given to the state’s largest (and therefore most well known) institution.
