Note that Richt only signed one 5* OL in his entire tenure at UGA (unless he did in his first two years before crootin sites started).

I didnt even know that Richt had one 5 star.
John Theus was the highest rated OL and I thought half of the sites had him a high 4 star.

He was the only one, 247 had him as a 5*

McClendon has been good. Out OL is far from excellent. Salyer has probably been the best of the bunch and I wouldn't say he has been excellent.
Salyer has been the best of the bunch and the mistakes preclude anyone from being excellent.
I would say they've been very, very good when you factor the situation.
Also what makes me think it's going to be hard to supplant these guys because they have so much room for improvement.

All of them have room for improvement and I expect them to do so.
It will be interesting to see if we can kick Salyer back inside for his senior year (if he comes back). We are guard heavy. But with Jones, Mims, & McClendon, I wouldn't be shocked if we would give Salyer a shot at top 50 draft pick with another year at guard.

Jones, Mims, & McClendon,
Why does everyone forget Tate Ratledge? I see no reason why he can't win the job over anyone.

He flashed early in camp and then hit the freshman wall.
He might be there next year. He's behind McClendon and Condon right now. Jones is behind Salyer and Truss. I'm just leaning that Jones is closer to starting (especially if Salyer moves to guard).
