One of the most trite, overused phrases on this board. I am so tired of it.

Webb to Georgia. Wouldn't be a big loss for Bama with the OL class Bama is about to sign. Bama has a center committed and signed the top ranked center last year. If Webb insists on being a guard, he will not be great.

Dean would be a huge loss for Bama, with their need for ILB. Saban put the full court press on Dean. Who would turn down the best coach in the nation at a position were you could start as a true freshman and win championships?

I think he said he wanted to start out as a guard. Either way, the coaching staff should play him where his skills are best whether it is guard or center.

As is true for Georgia.

Nobody would want to, but it happens almost every year. I mean, there are no guarantees he would start year 1. Probably would play year 1, but nobody can say it is a definite.

He's not turning Aranda down.

This is a no troll zone. Please, please, PLEASE respect that. There is absolutely no evidence of this, and I have seen absolutely no credible sources even hint this is the case.
This is one place we can talk reasonably and get honest news from each of the fan bases. Don't turn this into the crap show the Rant is. If you want to troll, then go to the Rant, please. This is not the place for it.

I have neber trolled or relayed info that wasn’t from a source in his program. His program.. Dean was all FSU after his visit and probably would have signed there if it wasn’t for the shitting of the bed year. He bought into the program, that has change a while ago. It is still a UGA and Bama race.. Bama seems to have the lean right now. Ole miss was never in it.. he had to say them to appease the home town. Horn Lake is basically Oxford. Unless something really changes after his L8U visit.. it’s still UGA and Bama only. Both great programs and can help him reach his goals. If he was to choose today it would be Bama.. and tomorrow it might be UGA. Either way he is a GREAT kid and amazing player. Would love to have him with Bama but will pull for him anywhere he decides to go

Bama fans will gladly trade Webb for Dean. We’ll see how it goes down.

Not a problem. I am old, too. Old people get 4 or 5 passes in my book!

Yes, they are both great players. Would love to get both, but it will be a fight to the end for both.

I wasn't trying to lecture or call you out. We might have a slight lead...but Alabama might have a slight lead. Just hard to tell. And I may have misinterpreted your intent. Either way, it's all good.

The last I saw was Alabama is in the lead for Webb.
Alabama: 56%
Georgia: 25%
Clemson: 6%
We shall see in the coming days!

Don't pay attention TOO much to crystal balls. They are a tool, but are not all that accurate. Those are put in, then forgotten about and a kid trends one way or the other. Most people, I think would agree Webb is trending towards Georgia. The one there is a a lot of disagreement about is Dean.

That said, Webb could end up at Alabama. he and dean have both been very secretive about what they are going to do.

I agree, I tend to agree Saban would prefer Evan Neal over Webb possibly. Just my thoughts.
