Don't get me wrong, at his size, and having seen him play well myself in person, I would take him. But, he is not another "Jolly".
They ran away from him the entire game but he is still not in shape. He has been out of shape for a while but we took another DT who was out a shape a few years back and he is doing just fine for us. Coach Hocke will shape his arse up but you can't teach that size and that frame. I thought he showed good athletism for a guy his size but Tucker consistently ran to the edges so it was hard for him to have any type of impact and he was out by halftime because it was a blowout.

Hockman made a few throws that were amazing. That roll out dime he threw to Tyler Smith was a thing of beauty. Sam Jackson was a beast as well as the backup RB they have. SImmons and Smith both looked good but I like Smith a bit better.

I'm sure the fact that he's only about 60% recovered from surgery isn't a big deal at all. Kid can't even lift weights yet.

Mmm...if that was the case, why risk his future by playing him too soon?
This has been the rub with him for 2 years now. I know you guys have Clark, but if Julian winds up being the "Belle of the Ball" for uga @ DT, will you guys be sassified?

They are playing some very good teams in the next few weeks. Will be interesting to watch.

I would be surprised if Brown went anywhere but Georgia but in recruiting you never know. That being said, with THompson already in the fold and the plan to bring in 3 or 4 DTs we should find someone to fit the bill. Julian can come in and get in shape his freshman year.

I think we end with Clark, Rochester, Brown and Carter a year after we snagged Thompson, Ledbetter, Rivers, Young and Hawkins. I would be pretty satisfied with those 2 DL hauls.

I don't think he will be the centerpiece. I mean, I still think he will do big things, but we got Trent Thompson last year, and still lead for Brown this year....and as you mentioned, Clark. If Rochester turns out to be as good as he can be we'll be just that much better along the line. Who knows, though, really. It's all a guessing game at this point.

So what's with Price and UGA? I've heard rumors that something happened between them that has soured the UGA and Davis relationship.

They've kept the situation with Price pretty tightly under wraps. But the gist is that something obviously happened, Price "decommitted," and now he has to work back into favor with the UGA coaches. It seems that things are improving on that front but I don't know what he did or what is expected of him before UGA will accept him back.
How that affects Davis, Williams, etc. is a mixed bag. Obviously having Price couldn't hurt but not having him has a different effect on the other guys depending on who you talk to. Smart money is that everyone makes their own decision come NSD so this is all just worthless speculating.
