Salty I see. And stop with that Mizzou is fine with the position....Knox would had been a starter for y'all. Hell, Kentucky has 3 5 stars already at the same position Knox plays.

Knox isn't better than Michael porter it, Knox at this point in time isnt better than jordan Barnett. We would have found a way to make him a starter yes, because you don't want to bench a five-star. But hes lesser talent then what we already have.

Not really hard for Cal to recruit these days. Just says check out all the guys I have in the league playing at an All-Star level. He has got a system that churns out NBA products; he has 28 players in the NBA from his 7 seasons at UK and he is about to go over 30 after this draft. What top level high school prospect wouldn't want to insert themselves into a situation like that. You don't really even have to pay, considering the salary and signing bonus the kid will receive this time next year.

Yes, he would have started for us. We probably would have had to play him or Barnett out of position a bit but he would have started.

For those shocked he went to UK, remember it was the media pointing him to Duke and the ACC, not what the kid was disclosing.
The big issue is not that he went to UK over MU but that he went SEC over ACC.

I actually walked by Joel Justus talking about Knox on my lunch break today. He basically said they thought there was no way he was going to Kentucky but didn't think he was going to Duke either.

I would have loved to have had Knox. And yes he would have started and starred for us. I do think it was a bit of a pipe dream for him to end up at Mizzou. None of this happens if Romar doesn't get fired. Having said that, I was surprised by UK. Seems everyone was thinking UNC or Duke. Congrats to you guys.

Dude. Stop. I know you like Barnett. Hell. I like Barnett. I get what you're saying that because Barnett has experience, he is a better player as we speak but no. Knox is much more talented. We didn't get him. Uk did. No big deal. Move on.

Im not even slightly kidding, and I said this all along. both will put up about the same numbers next season, I'll take the experience over the freshman (since they will only be playing one season next year) ANYTIME.
I need to find that article I read a year ago. It explains using some deeeeep info about how one and done schools just cant get it done anymore. I know a few schools will have success every once in a while, but as a majority, its not a good thing.
Also, I really, really, really, wanted knox. Still do. But he adds depth at SF, thats it.

Again, I would take a SR over FR if they play the same position, play the same style, and will most likely have very similar stats. Obviously if Knox stays more than one year that throws everything out.
Haven't you noticed the teams in the FF and who have won it recently? They have very few FR, o well.

I get what you're saying. The floor is probably raised with Barnett but I think the ceiling is higher with Knox. Just my opinion though.

This too is dumb. Have you noticed since the one and done rule only two teams have won it all without at least one McD AA. Knox and Porter Jr arent multi-year players so having a bunch of regular seniors isnt relevant.
Do you live in reality, just because UNC and Nova had some upperclassmen doesnt mean thats what wins. Talent wins.
