Tennessee has landed the commitment of elite offensive tackle Douglas Utu out of Bishop Gorman following his weekend official visit to Rocky Top. After a weekend spendt with the Vols, Utu saw everything he needed to see and chose the Vols over Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon and others.

Rivals (which sucks but anyway) has him as UT’s highest rated recruit. Tough to compete with that Nike money.

Ok. I just looked at Tenner’s class on Rivals and they had Utu on the top by rating. Again, not a big Rivals fan, but that’s who OP relied on in calling Utu a 5 star.

Interesting. Rivals ranked Utu #12 and Sanders #3 in their 2025 prospect ranking
