Most people figured he would probably delay it again though until after state playoffs. Which for Allen, is going to be like another month and a half

Yes they do care about where they'll play but $$$$ to agents trumps all.

listening to the moms interview on Bama Radio yesterday I was concerned.
The mods thought it was us. but not 100
if Freeze was there and this got bumped back it means one of three things.
1 he was committing elsewhere and freezes presence slowed the pick
2 he was committing to us but felt with playoffs it would be distraction, or freeze and he may want to do it at all star game or Signing Day. after his hs playoffs
3 The mom got a call from Bama or aTm at the last second saying they couldnt be there( they have games) so hold off. or sumlin and Saban made an impact.
alot to process on this situation.
i will like our chances all the way till signing day no matter who or when he picks.
but i hope we arent putting all of our eggs in one basket again.

OM is so flippin dirty. A nothing program in a small state with no tradition, championships, etc. Getting a blue chipper from their own state you could almost understand, but when they start going national something is clearly off. Glad he is delaying, maybe he will come to his senses and realize going 7-5 or 8-4 for three straight years isn't nearly as fun as competing for playoffs even if that means turning down some cash or free loaner cars.

I mean seriously what right now would be the draw to going to Ole Miss. That they beat Alabama for 2 years? They play in the worst stadium in the conference, with some of the worst facilities. They have zero football tradition. They have a head coach who was coaching high school 8 years ago.
And its not like he's from Mississippi. He did not grow up an Ole Miss fan.
