I grew up in North Augusta, SC. I spent half of my early life explaining to others why I was an LSU fan and not UGA, USC, or Clemson.

I've had a couple of LSU fans tell me I was never a LSU fan because real LSU fans are always LSU fans. But like I said...I still like LSU, but I have lived in Georgia for 50+ years now, so....add to that that my daughter went to Georgia.
There is usually a story why people are fans of their teams. Moved, etc
