I am thinking he meant it toward me since I said we didn't want opinions from random fans.
Let me clarify. Fans good info like Iota's are always welcome. I meant just somebody that heard a kid visited their school so now(in their own opinion) the kid is a lock.
Good, solid information is always welcome, and for that matter a rumor here and there.

Looked into it and apparently nothing tied to when you submit your pick.

Don't discount the socks, man.

Absolutely, Socks = Locks. We laugh but sometimes kids are asked to wear and say certain buzz ,words and or clothing, specifically to screw with other coaches. Believe me it happens waaaaaaay more than one would think. Now granted some kids absolutely will not do it, but some love the gamesmanship. And forgive me my Tiger brethren, but tha Dawgs are, and always have been my favorite team, not named my alma mater.

There was a post about a kid that was wearing (I think) LSU gloves and an Auburn towel at his football game. I think I saw it on the Auburn board, and I could have the LSU part mixed with another team.

LSU and Georgia fans typically have a good relationship....partly because we don't play each other a whole lot. We have been playing more often lately, so there is the inevitable troll from one team or the other that will get some fans ticked off.

But there have been some really classic battles between the two teams which has developed a mutual respect. And Herschel is the GOAT

I asked a couple of UGA go to guys and they both said he's solid to UGA and that they hadn't heard about the LSU info. That being said, there's a reason UGA come on late. The word they've used is "volatile". Not him per se, but the situation in regards to his recruiting.

I’ve learned to appreciate Herschel even more in recent years. That dude’s a legend in more than just football.

Absolutely. just not the last two years.

Honestly, I thought we were just not ready in 2018 and looked unprepared.
Last year I didn't think we had the horses but felt we could at least stay on the field. Obviously I was wrong.

That kid gonna ball, congrats. Guess it’s Derrick Davis Jr. or bust for us now. If take any additional secondary guys. We getting so low on bodies had to “borrow” one from Nichols St. last week. He is actually very talented and likely will be mid round draft. Possibly higher if stays 2 years.

Wow. Is nichols St playing this year? Surprises me that if they are playing they would let him miss practice time to help out LSU. It also surprises me that they can even do that, although I don't know why they wouldn't.
That could work out nicely for LSU. If he does well at the practices he could possibly go into the transfer portal and transfer to LSU. Helps LSU in practice and gives the coaches a chance to get a look at him against top competition.

Wild how even "insiders" seem to be split. Any way you slice it, it seems to be a close race. I am a pessimist at heart though.

It's going to be so back and forth moving forward. Watch Foreman not leave California when it's all over and done with

Absolutely. The SEC has always been full of really good RBs. Growing up an LSU fan I followed Charles Alexander and Dalton Hilliard. I can remember when i worked in radio we carried the Georgia football games and I can remember listening there when (I think) Charles Alexander played. 1978 or so? Sometime around there.
At that point LSU was still my favorite team and Georgia was a very close 2nd. I began to change over in 1979 a bit to Georgia leading a bit as my favorite team, but then I got on with Delta Air Lines and transferred back to Baton Rouge. The guys I worked with there gave me all kinds of crap in 1981 every time Georgia would fall behind in a game and that kind of sealed my fate as a Georgia fan and I never looked back.
I still have a lot of respect for LSU. George Rice was a close friend of my families. We used to call him Big George.

It wouldn't surprise me, really. but we can unite over that and both fan groups can say he was overrated and we didn't really want him anyway.
