Well what gives you the impression that FSU is in it for Ben Davis? They aren't in it at all and haven't been for a long time. He's on his OV to Auburn right now.
For Davis it's:
1. Bama
2. UGA
3. Auburn
Really it's just Bama though.

Consensus around Lanier faculty and people in the community, including Derrick's friends, is that he'll sign with UGA Wednesday.
Doubt it, but that matches up with 2 separate posters on 247 earlier today saying the same. One HS coach who's apparently well-connected in the Gwinnett coaching rings and another who attends Lanier

With both of his parents being MSU grads it would not shock me a bit come Wed. if he decides Starkville is the place for him, nobody really can get a read on the young man. Did Shoop keep the same D-line coach? His mother basically stated earlier this week Rocker is the reason UGA I guess is still in it, we all know he has a great relationship with Garner and since the Army All American Game things seemed to be trending Auburn's way. It should be interesting for sure Wed. afternoon what hat he puts on, hell if he's really confused he could always postpone his decision for a few weeks or longer. Everybody will hold a scholly for him of course.

I really doubt he even thinks about MSU. Right now I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm not that sold on him picking Auburn. If he ended up picking UGA, I would not be surprised at all. Him picking UT would surprise me but not shock me because you never know for sure when a team has the last OV.
Gut tells me UGA but everything seems to be trending our way so who knows.

My gut says Auburn, I was just throwing MSU out there because my head has no clue. With him just getting to know Shoop this late in the game I would be surprised if he picked UT, maybe the OV will blow him away. Who the hell knows?
