I really like Moore but I’m baffled by this. Not sure I can think of any way to justify only getting 2 offensive lineman or 3 with one of those being a DL switch.

One way to justify it is that its august and early signing period is still a ways away.

Sure but let’s be real. We aren’t going to drop 3 or 4 of our current commits to replace with O-line. Yes , change will happen before ESP but not like that.

Really didn’t think you’d do this here.
Just be happy and celebrate.
Getting these recruits isn’t stopping LSU from getting linemen. And you can’t pass up good recruits on the off chance you’ll get a quality lineman.
If some want in, the staff will make room.

I just hate when people come to bitch about other things on a commitment thread.
These guys deserve some respect and to me that takes away from that.
Not just this thread, we have some our recruiting board too.
If people are unhappy with recruiting they should start a thread about it and not do it on a commitment thread.
I’m not trying to single you out, but you did do it here

This WR class is ridiculous.

Moore’s verbal pledge gives the Tigers 23 total commitments for the 2020 class, which jumped LSU ahead of Ohio State for the No. 3 spot in the 247Sports Team Rankings.

He joins an LSU class that now has four wide receiver commitments, which can be argued as the best haul at the position in the country. The four-star prospect joins three other commitments who all rank inside the top seven nationally at the position. The 247Sports Composite ranks Rakim Jarrett as the No. 3 wide receiver in the country, Jermaine Burton the No. 6 wide receiver and Kayshon Boutte the No. 7 wide receiver.

I wasn’t complaining. I was thinking out loud about what this meant for the rest of our class. I’m sorry you feel that I have to have blind happiness and no critical eye about the way our class is filling up. Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a negative fan.

Nice get! Are you guys done at WR? With 23 commits, how big of a class are you planning to sign?

25, but we will probably replace a couple of current commits with 2 more. I'm guessing that we end up signing 4-5 guys not currently committed.

I don’t feel that way at all. I’m just saying this isn’t the thread for you to post it in.

Glad to have Moore!

Wondering how Bama LSU Clemson keep signing 25 players a year.... do they just force people out onto the streets each year ? At some point you can’t sign them a full class unless you have a lot of drops.

Because they send so many under class men to the pros.

Normally we have a ton of people who leave for the draft and we would have the open spots

This is the first year in a while where we didn't and needed players to look else where so we could sign the 25. Hence why we had a decent amount of transfers.
