Yep. Also, a lot of players take enough summer classes to graduate within 3 years. So, some who have redshirted and don't feel like they have a shot at starting can opt to grad transfer with 2 years of eligibility left and be a starter right away at another school.

Since last January, six transferred out and only one transferred in. Bama rarely has a problem with the 85 total counters cap. They lose some experienced depth, but it also makes way for young guys to get more playing time.
