He’s a good example of what is happening in ncaa D1 football now with the transfer portal. That was exactly my point. “Dawg wanting to play with dawgs” isn’t the same thing anymore, because these guys know they can just enter the portal as soon as things don’t look promising for them to be an early starter. It happens everywhere.
It wasn’t a knock on Bama or Moss. It was a recognition of reality. TideSaint and whoever the fricknut was who didn’t get the “high on Moss” joke are just paranoid.

Can you read? The post was not limited to this season. Bama has had several highly rated RBs transfer, ever heard of a guy named Alvin Kamara? Keilan Robinson, a 4 star, this offseason. B.J. Emmons and Jerome Ford, a couple of four stars in the past few years. I'm sure there are more I can't recall. Saban doesn't sign many low-rated players, so pretty much any RB transfer from Bama was a highly rated guy coming out of high school.

I was talking this season clearly. Kellan Robinson and Ford were basically three star players.

Nah. I get downvoted by a couple of butthurt Bama fans regardless of what I post here, and I could care less about that. There is a good chance you are one of those. The response is what I was referring to. It's pretty clear that he thought I was taking some dig at Bama and/or Moss and thought he'd reply with the stupid SECr "in your head" response.

Robinson was a 4 star but he was also the 15th ranked RB that year in 2019. Bama signed the #1 RB that same year, Trey Sanders.
Bama signed the #6 & #9 RB the next year, 2020; & signed the #3 RB this past year 2021. So K. Robinson had quite a few higher ranked RBs in front of him, and that's not counting Brian Robinson coming back for his senior year... he was ranked #8 in 2017.

I’m hearing rumors that Moss may have pulled the trigger too quickly due to pressure to claim a spot by Saban and may soon open things back up.

Looks like the Tide will continue to recruit Branson Robinson even with 2 RBs committed only cause we feel he is too good to pass up. Understood UGA is the key player there though

I’m a fan of this kid. He’s got all SEC type upside. One of his coaches told me his younger brother is a specimen but I have not verified that myself.

No, you’re not getting any “bites” because any Bama fan that actually follows recruiting knows saban doesn’t put pressure on kids like this to commit or they’ll lose their spot, especially at this point. Saban is known for telling kids to take their time. it was stupid when Captain Crown said it and it’s stupid when you say it.
