What is unfortunate for LSU is that naquan brown and tristian Leigh are friends. I am sure brown is giving him the down low in what went down there in his “decommitment”. Could be a reason why Leigh is not visiting for the LSU home game this weekend and is now going to Oklahoma.

A lot of recruits are "friends". What makes you think that they're such good friends that one's decision would impact the other one?

Because LSU “processed” naquan brown, which is not a good look. I understand other schools do it sometimes but LSU has done it a ton last 2 years. Naquan is probably pissed and I am sure him and Leigh talked about why he is not longer at LSU. I do not think it helps with Leigh but we will see the actual impact

I'm asking why you think they're like best friends.

I dont think they are best friends but I am sure they talked because they were both considering the same school and I am sure Leigh is probably curious as to why “all of a sudden” that brown “decommits”? It would just be Leigh doing his due diligence. just like you would be curious if you had a few job offers and were wondering why a specific person all of a sudden left the company you were considering. You are just doing your due diligence and it is wise to ask that.

Are you just trolling? You're "sure" they talked? How many times have they even met? Do they have each other's phone numbers? Did Leigh call Hundley too after he decommitted? Did he call Caleb Johnson after he decommitted from Oklahoma to find out the scoop there?

I doubt anyone involved wonders why Brown decommitted. We had 5 WDE committed, there were no camps and he's not playing a senior season. All of our other commits played this fall. I mean there really isn't much mystery here. We have to make room for different positions, namely OL.

Just decommitted

Just committed to Pitt. I guess he wasn't "processed" after all. Looks like they flipped him.

I agree. You do know that I was not saying bigger fish, but was quoting another LSU poster, right?

What's happened, though, is we've had to reprioritize some positional needs. We had like 5 WDE/OLB committed and only 1 OL, 1 CB and 1 RB. We're definitely looking to add another corner and a few more OL, and we could probably use another running back as well.

I think going forward there will be a lot of reprioritizing a lot by all the schools. This year has been a bit of a mess, and with them making it a noncounter against eligibility some players who were expected to go will be staying.
